What we do
B & B foods is a “Full-Line Food Service Distributor” and sells everything from Cleaning Supplies, Fruit & Vegetables, Processed Vegitables, Dairy, Commodities, Center of Plate products, to Commercial Equipment and kitchen Supplies. We deliver and sell to Hospitals, Schools, Restaurants, Daycares, and many other types of accounts. We also have a retail Cash & Carry store that is open to the public and offers full access to all of the products that we stock and sell. The Store even has a Deli that offers daily lunch specials and prepares custom deli trays for special events on a pre-order basis.

History
Bud and Betty Schobert founded B&B Foods in 1952 in Terre Haute, Indiana.  The business flourished causing them to move to a small warehouse on Poplar Street.   In 1964 growth required them to relocate to Crawford Street just one block from our present location.  In 1968 the Stran Steel Company wanted the land our business was on so we moved to our present location.   At that time we owned 2 trucks and were able to store everything including the trucks inside the 5,000 square foot building.  Since then we have built 8 new buildings.Presently we have 80 employees, operate 20 vehicles, with a full service garage and a Cash and Carry store, covering a 120 mile radius of Terre Haute.

B&B Foods is a member of Unipro.  In fact Bud Schobert was one of the original founders of the Nifda organization in the late 1950's, our member number is 004.
